![]() Networking support is also included with this program. Traffic Global is simple to install and is ready to run ‘out of the box’. The AI aircraft respond to the movements of your aircraft as you move around the airport. Even with hundreds of AI aircraft on screen and more being simulated nearby, simulator performance is barely affected. Traffic Global loads everything in the background and is usually ready to go as soon as your flight starts. ![]() ![]() This performance-friendly program is also compatible with all third-party airports and includes seven controllable external views and three control windows, all of which will be covered in the review. Besides authentic airline liveries, Traffic Global includes full 3D sound as well as lighting and effects. New or altered aircraft liveries can easily be added and do not require any additional configuration. Traffic Global includes 65 aircraft types and over 860 liveries covering most of the world’s airlines, this program adds over 600,000 AI flights to X-Plane 11 (Windows), enhancing more than 3,000 global airports with complex, multi-day flight schedules. You may not need a gaming headset but I would recommend one or at least a microphone that clips on your head (you know what I mean). If you are like me and are frustrated by the lack of AI traffic in the X-Plane 11 simulator or have simulator plugins installed, either free or premium, but have to setup each flight in order to have other traffic at the airport, then Just Flight’s Traffic Global may be for you. So I purchased a gaming headset that has a microphone and the problem was solved. What I discovered was the sound from my surround sound speakers was interfering with the microphone's ability to clearly hear what I was saying and Pilot2ATC could not understand me. I tried using it with a desktop microphone (a cheap one). Oh, I will point out one issue I had with Pilot2ATC. I can go on and on.Ĭheck it out at and watch some of the videos to get an idea of what it can do. There are so many things you can do with it and even use it to create flight plans. You can request the option for landing so you can do touch and go's. You can request to stay in the pattern on takeoff to practice landings. I can request taxi and let Pilot2ATC give me directions or request taxi to a specific runway. I get near an airport, look up the approach frequency, contact approach and request vectors for an instrument approach and go from there. You can take off without using it and fly somewhere and then decide that you want to use Pilot2ATC. ![]() You don't have to file a flight plan if you don't want to. XPUIPC is free where you have to purchase FSUPIC.) You do need FSUPIC for FSX, P3D and FS2020 and XPUIPC for XP11. I discovered Pilot2ATC and was pleased to find that it worked with all of my flight simulators (FSX, P3D, XP11 and FS2020). Not all of the time but enough that I stopped using it. I tried 124th ATC but had issues with it vectoring me hundreds of miles off course. Perhaps I wouldn't do that if I as using an online service but I like the ability to just quit when I want and don't want to just drop off of someone's radar (literally and figuratively). There are times when I start a flight and then right in the middle I get bored and quit. I thought about using an online ATC but I'm not very consistent when it comes to flying. ![]()
